First establish whether the photograph shows the product being offered or a representative example. Then compare the measured crown height, condition, any repairs, provenance information, price and terms of sale. No single feature can replace that complete assessment.
Read the guideUse a clear, repeatable measurement. Measure crown height in a straight line from base to tip where possible, and state total length separately when root or matrix is present. A scale photograph helps, but does not replace a stated measurement method.
